Writing Wicked Works Since 2016
My name is Angela Wicke (she/her), and I go by Angie. I grew up outside Rochester, NY and I’ve been a resident of southeast CT for the last seven years. I’m a trans woman who believes that visibility and honesty are the best forms of advocacy. My day job is in engineering, and I served as a leader and advocate for the queer community in a predominantly cisgender, heteronormative industry for three years. I started writing in my free time in 2016, exploring queer themes as well as the importance of self love and acceptance through fantastical settings. My first novel, I Left My Hormones in Another World Vol. 1, was published in 2024. My hope with all of my works is to give the folx in my community a little more good representation in media, while also appealing to the general public and sharing some insights into our daily lives and struggles they may not be aware of.
